A lot of "free" software available for download includes pop-up advertisements (which is how they pay for it and how they make money). You can usually find out more about this by searching the Internet for more information about it or reading the Acceptable Use/Privacy Agreement before installing it. Do not trust that all software is naturally good for you or your computer.
