Dial-up Pop-up

Do you get a pop-up box asking for a password or a dial-up number everytime you try to access ResNet? Or do you get a window asking you to continue working offline? Read the instructions below to find out how to remove of these windows.

1. Click the start button in the bottom right corner of your screen, and select Control Panel (or select Settings, then Control Panel in some versions of Windows).



2. In the Control Panel, select Internet Options.



3. Select the Connections tab and make certain that your computer is set to Never Dial a Connection

4. Click okay and open a new browser window. You should no longer be prompted for a dial-up number or password.
