Data Jack Locations

Choose your room's location:

1. Residence Halls (Bartlett, Bender, Campbell, Dancer, Hagemann, Lawther, Noehren, Rider, Shull)

2. ROTH

3. University Apartments (College Courts, Hillside Courts, Jennings Courts)

Residence Halls

In the residence halls there are two orange data jacks in each room (except in rooms that are designed singles). Generally both are active. Look on each wall of your room to locate the orange jacks.

ROTH

In ROTH there is a beige/tan colored data jack, generally labeled as "Data". They are located in each bedroom in ROTH. Look on each wall of your bedroom to locate the jack. If you are sharing your room with a roommate you may need to go down to the hall office to get a splitter which will allow you both to plug into your data jack.

University Apartments

All University Apartments have a jack for connecting to ResNet. This jack is always orange and are located in the following areas (please note that your layout may be the reverse of the layout show on this page).

College Courts (West 30th and 31st Streets)

The jacks in College Courts are always located in the living room on the wall opposite the wall with the front door.

Hillside Courts (E, F, and G Streets)- One Bedroom

The jacks in one-bedroom apartments are located in the living room on the wall adjacent to the bedroom.

Hillside Courts (E, F, and G Streets)- Two Bedroom (Three Different Styles)

The jacks in two-bedroom apartments are located in the living room on the wall adjacent to the bedroom.

Hillside Courts (E, F, and G Streets)- Two Story

The jacks in two-story apartments are always located on the top floor, right
at the top of the stairway.

Jennings Courts (Jennings Dr.)

The jacks in Jennings Courts are always located on the wall in the dining room
opposite the wall.
