About Us

ResNet was formed in 1998 to provide on-campus students with Internet connectivity. Created as a joint effort between ITS and the Department of Residence, ResNet now serves over 4,000 actively registrered computers. Internet access for ResNet is provided through the University and shares a portion of this connection during evenings and weekends.Typical services ResNet provides are:

• Assistance with Internet access in the residence halls, ROTH, and University Apartments
• Support for UNI's anti-virus software
• Help reformatting/virus recovery
• Spyware removal
• General computer advice

ResNet's goal of providing high-quality Internet access to UNI's residential community is carried out by answering calls at the Helpdesk, answering questions by e-mail, and through this web site.
